Our luxury thatched roof chalets are privately owned and situated inside the world renowned Sun City Resort.
Kwena Gardens consists of 14 luxury chalets, a vast, scenic crocodile sanctuary which is home to 7000 crocs including the two biggest captive Nile crocodiles in the world… A variety of bird species are regular visitors at Kwena as well as vervet monkeys.
As a resident of Kwena Chalets, you will gain complimentary entrance to the Sun City Resort, the Valley of Waves as well as complimentary access to our Crocodile Sanctuary situated next to the chalets.

ABOUT US:
With a unique, warm and personal ‘African Village’ atmosphere, Sun City Kwena Chalets is a natural, relaxing hideaway.
Our 14 luxury thatched roof chalets are decorated in warm, authentic, African colors and relaxing themes, providing all necessary comforts.
We have eight king size bed chalets, four chalets with two-single beds, one king size bed chalet built for paraplegic guests, and one beautiful spacious suite.
We can provide folded beds for children sharing a chalet with their parents as well as a camping cot for babies.
Shaded parking is available to all Kwena Chalets guests.
Nestled in the heart of Kwena Gardens, is our spacious coffee shop and a relaxing lounge overlooking the young crocodile pond and beautiful landscapes where breakfast will be served, you can even try some crocodile meat!
We also have a large curio shop with a wide variety of goods on offer. From traditional African art and crafts to clothing and crocodile leather goods.
Guided tours and educational videos are also available for those die hard nature enthusiasts and groups.
For an extremely unique experience, feed the crocodiles yourself or enjoy our daily feeding at 16h30.
